Our Mission
Our mission is to incorporate professionalism, wellness, and independence for individuals and families as a tangible product for consumers and County government throughout South Carolina and Georgia.
Provide an array of treatment modalities such as Motivational therapy, Trauma Focused- CBT, and Psychotherapy, to list a few. Respond to our members’ inquiries in a timely manner, collaborate with other health systems, and advocate for those in need.

Terry B. Miller
Licensed Professional Counselor
This is Terry B. Miller. His hometown is Augusta, GA. He has a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling with a PH. D emphasis in Organizational Leadership. He is a Certified Trainer for the “Love and Logic” Institute, which promotes Positive Parenting methods using Love and Logic principles. He also is a certified trainer for “Triple P” positive parenting.
Mr. Miller is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of South Carolina. He has provided behavioral and mental health services for 25+ years. Mr. Miller offers an array of clinical services to adults, children, adolescents, families and couples. Mr. Miller specializes in the treatment of disorders such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, ODD, conduct disorders, family issues, relational problems, woman issues and men’s issues. He is an Ordained Minister in the area of marital counseling and wedding ceremonies. Mr. Miller strives to provide the highest level of clinical care.
Mr. Miller enjoys playing basketball, exercising, singing and playing the drums. He is highly motivated to help children who struggle in school/home and in the community.

Bobbiann Shufelt
Licensed Professional Counselor
My name is Bobbiann Shufelt and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Addictions Counselor, a Certified Dementia Practitioner, a Community Residential Care Facility Administrator, and a Certified Tier 3 trained Military Counselor. I am a Clinical Mental Health professional with over 25 years of experience and leadership skills. As a therapist I've worked with a wide range of clients and have counseled individuals, couples, families, children, and adolescents. I have run community mental health centers, substance abuse programs, prison programs, and a successful private practice office. I have worked with clients on issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, grief, trauma, PTSD, substance abuse, military deployment and reintegration, and self-esteem. I am trained as a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist who was taught by the Master himself, Albert Ellis.
In my spare time, I love to bake and I own a small on line bakery named Sweet Cream Treats. I also love to hike, spend time with family and friends, and travel.
My goal is to empower my clients to recognize their own inner strengths, and make the best decisions they can in any situation.
Karen Alvenia Johnson
Clinical Director
This is Karen Alvenia Johnson. Her hometown is Bronx, NY, but she currently lives in North Augusta, SC. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Counselor Education and a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, both from South Carolina State University.
She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia and also a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in South Carolina.
She has been providing behavioral and mental health counseling services for 36 years. Ms. Johnson started working at WOL when she was recruited by Mr. Terry Miller to be the co-founder.
She strives to make sure all clinical operations are at optimal levels, and she has great joy in helping clients by determining their mental health and behavioral needs. Her ultimate goal is to see the company achieve a high level of success before retiring.

Carter Fox, MA, LPC-A, NCC
My name is Carter Fox and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and a National Certified Counselor in the state of South Carolina. I received a Master’s Degree in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 2023. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families with various presenting problems. I have dedicated my career to providing guidance and support to those in need. With a profound understanding of human psychology and a genuine passion for helping others, I strive to create a safe and empathetic environment for my clients to explore their emotions and overcome personal challenges. My education and training have equipped me with a comprehensive skill set, enabling me to utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each individual’s unique circumstances. I firmly believe in developing a collaborative relationship with my clients, empowering them to navigate life’s complexities and achieve personal growth.
A vital part of keeping my mental health in check is following a self-care routine. This includes enjoying outdoor activities, exercising, and spending time with my wife. With a strong athletic background during my childhood, I have a profound interest in sports such as baseball, football, and golf.

Chatale Sullivan she, her, hers, is a Licensed Master of Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of South Carolina and Georgia. Professional development in Harm Reduction Approaches, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy TF CBT, Trauma Separation in Foster Care, HIV/AIDS, Racial and Generational Trauma, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), as well as Individual and Family Substance Use Disorders. She has nine-years of experience working with homeless populations (military and civilian), children, youth, and individuals from various socioeconomic levels encompassing a broad range of treatment planning, assessing, case management and resource allocation to diligently work to alleviate the life altering effects of poverty and mental health in the South Carolina and Georgia communities. Chatale is experienced with and offers a wide-ranging supportive approach grounded in social-emotional, relational and spiritual foundations addressed within a collaborative, supportive and therapeutic environment. As a counselor she brings a passion for children, teens and adults as well as a dedication and commitment to an individual’s sound well-being. Chatale values diversity and individual choices which she uses as strengths to empower individuals from all walks of life to reach their fullest potential of personal development and holistic wellness. In her spare time she enjoys family, art, music, comedy, laughter, and cooking “mostly eating”, all of which she tries to incorporate into her therapeutic approach with clients. She brings passion and dedication to supporting a team spirit and wholeheartedness, Courage doesn’t always roar.
